William, I intended to mention too that quite a few years ago, as a new member
of a UU church (in US), I was asked to be one of the pre-service “intuitive healers”.
Chairs were set up in pairs across from each other so a person could just come in
and sit where they chose. I’d been reading your book about the inner smile….so
it seemed natural to gently lead them on that journey. Everyone raved about their
experiences – and even results.
This event was extraordinarily informative, personable, usable, even fun!!
William, I was “tuned into” the earliest Gestalt experiencings plus early “humanistic
psych” approaches – all very experimental (in the US). Later years (as a newly trained hypnotherapist) I learned “Interactive Guided Imagery” (asking the body part what it wanted/needed, etc.) I’ve been saddened that those amazingly effective approaches seemed to have disappeared from the body-mental health landscape. Now, with great excitement, I see that they all went “underground” – or shall I say submerged – now to re-emerge in more highly evolved/cohesive/inclusive/societally accepted forms!

Deepest gratitude, Carol
